Thank you for scheduling a portrait session with Price Family Photography. We want you to be pleased with your finished portraits so we have collected a few tips and suggestions to help ensure you look your best and have a stress-free experience.

Clothing             Your portrait session is about you and your personality so you will want to wear clothing that does not compete for the viewer’s attention. Plain, comfortable clothing will always photography better than stripes, large prints, and busy patterns. Avoid short sleeves and extreme necklines and shorts. Large amounts of exposed skin will draw attention away from the face. Consider wearing neutral colors in your outdoor sessions. For families and large groups consider wearing similar styles of clothing in complementary colors.

Children             This is not assembly line photography like you will find at your local mall. We will make sure there is plenty of time, so please do not feel rushed or stressed during your children’s sessions. If you are relaxed and enjoying yourself, your child will as well. We will take the time needed to capture your child’s personality.  We begin the session with a few traditional poses and then move on to some more “active” shots to capture their true personality.   Relax and have fun.
